Enerjim, a subsidiary of Akfel Commodities, has attended the “4th International 100% Renewable Energy Conference” on 26-28 June, 2014, Istanbul. Kamil Börekcioğlu, General Manager of Akfel Power gave a speech in the Plenary Panel; Renewable Energy Electricity Markets, Infrastructures, Opportunities and Solutions. Börekçioğlu's conference topic was : “Opportunities and Risks of Renewable Energy Investments from the Perspective of Electricity Trading in Turkey”. Kamil Börekcioğlu presented risks and opportunities of electricity trading alternatives for renewable power plants pursuant to applicable electricity market regulations. The Conference brought leading national and international public and private experts and academicians together at Türkan Saylan Culture Center of Maltepe Municipality. Attendies emphasized importance of increased share of renewable energy. EUROSOLAR Turkey, the Turkish Section of the European Association for Renewable Energy, once again has organised annual International 100% Renewable Energy Conference (IRENEC 2014). As per the vision of the Association, IRENEC provides an international platform for the sharing of knowledge and ideas regarding the technical, economic, and political aspects of the transition to 100% Renewable Energy and for building the networks to realize this vision through industry, architecture, transportation, local communities and training.
